The hotel was enchanting. Thoroughly enjoyed the garden view from our twin room. Reasonable location of the property to the ferry terminal for Gulangyu. Close to the hill, shops, and seafood restaurants.

It is also close to bus stops and very easy to catch a taxi from the main road. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel facilities were clean and spacious. I had a great stay at the well-renovated City Hotel. The location was perfect, just around the corner from the Botanical Gardens and a short walk to the Zhongshan Road area. I loved exploring the alley nearby with its dumpy little restaurants serving delicious local food. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and spacious. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. I would highly recommend this hotel. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.
